Our process

How we work, from the first call to the seasonal review.

Six plain steps with a free lawn walk, an itemized estimate and notes after every visit. You always know what we are doing, why and what comes next.

Step 1

Call and schedule

You tell us about your lawn and what you want to change: weeds, thin grass, pests or a whole program. We ask a few questions, listen and set a visit that fits your day.

Step 2

Walk and test

We walk the lawn, identify the grass, check the soil, weeds, pests, shade and drainage and ask how you use the yard and what has and has not worked.

Step 3

Plan and estimate

We build a calendar for your grass type and give you an itemized written estimate with the services, timing, products by category and options.

Step 4

Prepare and schedule

Visits are scheduled by season and weather, and we note gates, pets, sprinklers and anything else that matters to you.

Questions

Before you start.

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. The lawn walk and the written estimate are free and come with no obligation. You approve a written scope and price before any work begins.

What areas do you serve?

Nashville and communities across Middle Tennessee, including Franklin, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville, Mt. Juliet and more. See the service areas page for the full list.

What kind of grass do I have?

We identify it on the free visit. Tall fescue is the most common in Middle Tennessee, with bermuda and zoysia on sunny lots.

What services do you offer?

Plans and estimates, fertilization and weed control, aeration, seeding and renovation, pest and disease control, mowing and maintenance, beds and irrigation, and commercial work.

What drives the cost of lawn care?

Lawn size, turf condition, access, the services you choose, the number of visits and the products used.

Do I have to sign a long contract?

We explain the terms clearly in the estimate so you know exactly what you are agreeing to, and how to adjust or pause service.

How do I compare bids?

Ask each company to price the same lawn area, services and visits. Our bid scorecard helps you compare scope, references and communication.
