A full reset for lawns beyond repair: strip, grade, amend and replant with sod or seed for a fresh, even start.
Some lawns are past the point where treatments help. Years of weeds, bare patches, uneven ground, heavy thatch, compacted clay or the wrong grass for the site can leave a yard that is more problem than turf. In those cases, a renovation is more effective and often less costly than years of patching. In Middle Tennessee, new subdivisions with builder fill and old yards with generations of weeds are the most common candidates for a rebuild.
We start with an honest assessment and a plan. Depending on the lawn, we may kill the existing growth, strip or till the surface, bring in quality topsoil or compost, correct grade and drainage and then establish new grass by sod or seed. We choose the grass for your sun, shade and use, and we schedule the work for the best planting window. Afterward, you receive an establishment plan covering watering, first mowing and feeding. It is a bigger project than routine care, but the payoff is a lawn that finally looks the way you want.
We tell you whether treatment will do the job or whether a rebuild is the more sensible path.
Compost, topsoil and proper grading set the foundation that old lawns often lack.
We help you choose between the speed of sod and the lower cost of seed, based on timing and use.
Watering, mowing and feeding instructions protect your investment while the new lawn roots.
