A barrier treatment for shrubs, shady areas and standing-water spots, to reduce mosquitoes so you can use your yard again.
Middle Tennessee evenings are meant to be spent outside, but mosquitoes can make a patio unbearable from late spring through fall. They rest in shaded foliage during the day and breed in even tiny amounts of standing water, including clogged gutters, plant saucers, tarps and birdbaths. A treatment aimed at where mosquitoes rest, combined with reducing breeding sites, can lower numbers noticeably so cookouts, play and gardening are more comfortable.
We start by walking the yard to find resting areas and breeding spots, then apply a barrier treatment to shrubs, tree lines, fences and shady spots, following the label. In sites with standing water we may add a larval control. Visits are repeated on a schedule through the season, because mosquito pressure rebuilds with rain and heat. We give you simple tips to cut down breeding at home, such as emptying containers weekly and keeping gutters clear. Treatment reduces mosquitoes but cannot eliminate them completely, and we are upfront about that.
Barrier treatment on foliage, tree lines and shaded spots targets mosquitoes at rest.
Gutters, saucers, tarps and birdbaths hold water. Removing or treating them cuts numbers at the source.
Repeat visits keep pressure down as rain and heat bring new waves.
Treatment lowers mosquito numbers noticeably but cannot remove every one, especially next to wooded areas.
